2025 Bluff to Bluff Press Release:  Sunday August 3rd, 2025 dawned beautifully calm and warm under the subdued light of Canadian wildfire smoke where 50 highly skilled road bicycle racers from four countries stood at the base of Powers Bluff Wood County Park at Arpin, WI ready to compete in the 6th Annual "Bluff to Bluff 50 Mile Road Bicycle Race" which winds past farm fields then up and over Cary Bluff, through wild lands and small villages with a finish atop Power Bluff.  The race field contained men and women possessing Passports from Spain, France, England, St Martin French West Indies and the USA with an age range of 10 to 80 years.
With clear focus defending champion Aitor Azkarraga and his team Stevens Point Cycling Club (SPCC) worked hard to defeat Jahkim Carty of Nice Metropole, France. The race commenced at a tactical pace of 24-30mph (40-50kph) to the base of Cary Bluff climbs where an explosion of power cleaved the peloton into a lead group of 13 with two chase groups forming in its wake. In spite of unrelenting coordinated attacks by SPCC Aitor and Jahkim arrived at the base of Powers Bluff for the 1.4 mile (2.33km) climb  unescorted resulting in an epic duel to the finish with Jahkim out sprinting Aitor in the final meters of the 50 mile race! Embedded in the second peloton was the fight for Women's Overall Winner and the QOM/Sprint Preems between Sofia Tylinski of UW Cycling and Marie Streich 2022 defending Champion. In a dominant show of power Sofia captured both Preems and the Overall Win with a Course Record average speed of 23.1mph (38.5/kph)! In the Men's Division Jahkim captured the Sprint and King of the Mountain Preems.
